Maggie has nourished her lifelong love of art, design and beauty in a variety of mediums.  Glass became her main focus in 1998, starting with stained glass and quickly evolving into fused glass.  In 2000, she left the rat race of corporate America to concentrate her energies on the creation of art glass and started her own studio, Glassique.  “I like to express my ideas through color and texture and the interplay of light brings the pieces alive.  I have a contemporary style, geometric, linear, with just a touch of whimsy!  I’ve recently started experimenting with abstract pieces and really like the direction that that is taking me.”  Maggie has studied with nationally and internationally known professional artists in both Portland, Oregon and Corning, New York.
